Unique Island Homes is a locally owned family business based in Hobart Tasmania.
Andrew Maxfield is the owner and operator and takes a keen interest in making sure his client's needs are fulfilled. He has been a builder all of his working life and along with his wife has operated Unique Island Homes for over 25 years.
As an active Member of the Housing Industry Association, Andrew and his team are able to attend training courses to keep on improving their skills in this often changing industry.
New Builds
We work closely with other local service providers to make your building experience as enjoyable as possible. We can recommend Building Designers who will be able to work closely with you to design the home that you want. Other trades and contractors are engaged by us as needed, but we endeavor to work on each project ourselves to guarantee your project meets our high standards.
Extensions
There are many reasons why you may be thinking about an extension to your existing home.
"We need an extra room". or "If we added an extra floor, we could enjoy the ocean views". Maybe you have other reasons too. Unique Island Homes have done many extensions and additions to homes over the years and can offer the needed advice and direction to make a real difference in the home you have come to love.
Renovations
As Unique Island Homes is a smaller building company we are very flexible with the size and nature of the work we take on. If you want your older home fully renovated, that is something we can do. Perhaps it is just your kitchen that needs a new look, or a bathroom that needs to be enlarged or redesigned, or both? Again, our experienced team can help with all of these scenarios.
